Elaine Moonan is an enthusiastic self-taught artist. Nature is her muse. In describing her work, she says “I have been fascinated with creating for as long as I can remember. About 20 years ago, I fell in love with painting, starting first with oil then moving to acrylic and mixed media. Most of my work is abstract, I have an appreciation of intense colors and movement that manifest what the viewer is seeing. Currently I am trying my hand at watercolors and acrylic landscapes”.
