Julie is originally from England; she subsequently lived in Africa and Europe and finally here in Canada, and now retired and settled in the Cowichan Valley. Julie enjoys the opportunity to express herself creatively. Her paintings span various media and techniques, including coloured pencil, watercolour, pastel, and acrylic, even painting on glass! Julie describes her style as principally realistic, covering many subjects, not limiting herself to one, and trying to keep her output fresh.
